TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Art and design education is about inspiring students and providing them with the necessary tools and skills to communicate a thoughtful response to a visual problem. Making art gives youth their "visual voice" - a way of communicating their ideas, feelings and values through their use of material, color, line and shape. Providing my students with meaningful opportunities for making and interpreting art is the foundation of my teaching practice.
